6.0 just shut off,

Took it to Ford over the weekend and got the news today as to why my truck shut itself off and wouldnt start again. Would crank but not start. F.I.C.M Fuel injector control module took a dump. 800 dollar ford part. Covered by warranty luckily. Hopefully this will fix all the problmes with my truck. Previous owner had to put a turbo on it and miscelaneous other small stuff.

Glad it was covered under warranty - keep us posted as to if it fixes the problem. What year is your rig?

If your truck has already had a turbo and now the FICM go out then you might want to get some kind of extended warranty. Some guys have had had flawless 03/04 rigs and others haven't. I don't wanna scare you though!

Got the beast back today. Runs better than it ever has, except now when I shut it off the fuel pump stays on for like 30 seconds... Is this normal, never did it before.
