Replaced 6.0 myself!!!!!!

To everyone who has ever been scared to tackle motor repair or even a motor swap, I am here to say IT can be done in you shop. I Blew my head gaskets again during hurricane Ike down here in southeast texas, and had it towed to the dealership. They wanted over 7000 dollars to replace injectors high pressure oil pump egr cooler oil cooler head gaskets icp ipr blah blah blah the usual stuff. Well i was not going to spend any more money on that motor. I asked for a price on a new motor, THAT was out of the question. Well I found a wrecked 6.0 on ebay with 64000 miles and bought it for the motor. Me and a buddy swapped it out in a week. I put an EGR delete kit and ARP studs, and hope it does not happen again. What I am getting at is, with a little help and ingenuity it can be done. If any body needs parts I have a whole truck left minus a motor and fenders and doors. I was intimidated by the 6.0, nit any more

Just out of curiosity, how much did the rebuild and upgrades cost you doing it yourself? I keep worrying what I'll do if mine ever goes out.
