ultra low sulfur fuel

To use fuel additives or not.What is the manufacturer recomending?I have the 06 6.0 Do I need fuel lube? If I have a fuel related failure will Ford honor the warrantee?

If I were you, I would use it on every fill up or at least on every other one. The new fuel is real dry, and an additive will help lub it a little better.

There was an article in one of the 'Diesel Power' issues that talked about the new ULSD, and they showed a pic of it at a station, and it had another pump right next to it, that was used to select the lubrication that you wanted to add to the fuel. Don't know when that will be available, it looked like a prototype, most likely in CA.

I'm going to start adding a gallon of vegi oil (new vegi or filtered used vegi) to each tank of diesel. No better lub than that.
I hear about lots of people doing that with no issues.

ket us know how that goes.. didnt you JUST replace all injectors because of burnin oil???

Maybe it was someone else??

No, i did just go through injectors but not because of oil.
I am burning oil again too!
