Truck stalling and wont restart

I bought a 04 6.0L Powerstroke back in February. It has 50,000 miles and has not been modded. Ran great until last week. This is a long email but I dont know how else to describe the symptoms.

The truck stalled on me after a 8 mile trip to a restaurant. The truck started right back up and I parked it. One hour later after eating, the truck would crank strong but would not start. I left it sit overnight.

The next morning I came back and the truck started fine. I drove it about 5 miles. I came to a stopsign and the truck was idling rough. When I pressed on the gas nothing happened, no rpm increase. I pulled over and shut the truck off. The truck would not restart and I had it towed to the dealer. No engine warning lights came on.

The dealer replaced my alternator and both batteries. I picked up the truck three days ago. It ran fine and I even used it this weekend to two my 8000 lb work trailer 300+ miles with some steep hills.

Last night I drove the truck about 50 miles at highway speeds (california 80mph). When I stopped at a gas station the truck would not restart at first. Same symptoms, truck would crank hard but would not catch.

I did get the truck to eventually start and drove 50 miles home uphill, when I got up the hills and backed of the throttle the truck seemed to lose power for a little. I pulled over and then the problem went away.

This morning the truck started fine but stalled three times on the 9 mile trip to work. Each time it was hard to restart but did eventually. It seems to have the exact same problem. There are no engine warning lights on. This is my first diesel so I dont know much and feel a little at the mercy of the dealer.

Any ideas? The dealer seems clueless.

Sounds like a FICM going south and/or lack of sufficient fuel pressure, or injector(s) failing. Without DTC info, it's a shot in the dark. Have the dealer monitor your FICM_L/FICM_M/FICM_V, FICM SYNC, SYNC, ICP (volts and pressure), IPR duty cycle, engine RPM, and V-PWR PIDs when the vehicle fails to start or behave out-of-the norm. That's the only to pinpoint it. Just for your info, the "check engine" light does not always illuminate when codes are flagged.
