Sorry to hear that, I certainly hope it's a fluke... Mine does get that periodic heavy trailer pulling work out so at 14k plus miles I've had no issues... If yours is pretty much an around town/highway light use truck, that could be part of the problem... As I understand it these engines are made to be USED and without that you get build up of various things that like to cause problems within the overall intake system...

The '05s and '06s are supposed to be pretty bullet proof if used and taken care of properly... Let us know if they come up with any reasoning....

Ken....

I don't think its about towing, so much as, the need to get the RPM's up once in a while (put your foot in it). Personally I can't keep my foot out of the go pedal long enough to get decent fuel mileage out of her, but its fun. Just my 2 cents

If cleaning the radiator with your loud pedal is what it takes, my PSD is doing JUST fine! ha I just turned 29,000 miles on my rig and I've had it since September of 05 and it's running better than the day I got it, but just like brand new!
Pulled out three tree stumps about a week ago, my friends thought it couldn't do it, HAHA! Were they suprised.

I'll never drive another gasser after owning this beast!

sry to hear about your troubles TRH, let us know how it works out.
