Warranty voided!
Well I guess that according to Ford, I rank right down there with Ted Bundy and Charles Manson. I had a friend who works at a Ford dealer in another state check my VIN number abd he said that Ford has already tagged it as "modified vehicle" and voided the remainder of the warranty. All this because I complained about them not investigating what actually caused the excessive crankshaft endplay in my truck.
I guess we're just supposed to believe that "Built Ford Tough" really means ".....as long as you don't change anything!"

Talk to me!!!! I have heard that was a TSB out for the endplay problem and the Ford Tech line seemed to know about it but I can't find anything in wiriting anywhere. The endplay was about.200" and ended up shearing the flexplates bolts off.
