Can AutoEnginuity delete the EGR Sensor

I have added the hardware for the EGR delete. Can AE delete the EGR from the software so I no longer get the check engine light? If so, How do I do it?

No, it will not. You can get a tuner or simply plug the EGR valve back in and leave it laying up there.

My roomate has a SCT tunner but I am not wanting to put any tunes on my engine or tranny. I have the EGR plugged in but still get the Engine light on every now and then and have to clear it out.

You won't be able to use your friends tuner. To place the tune on a vehicle, the tuner gets "locked" to that vehicle. You won't be able to use that tuner on any other vehicle until you unlock the vehicle that it is "married" to, which requires the removal of the tune you put on the locked vehicle.
Buy your own..and installing a tune that specifically blocks the PCM from throwing that code is the only way to prevent it.
