Exclamation NEW OWNER! HELP

I bought a 2006 6.0 when I bought the truck I noticed the lights surged a little bit at idle and while driving. Well now its worse. The other problem I have is when the truck is cold the motor cuts in and out you can hear it in the exhaust, soon as I hit operating temp it goes away but when I get on the pedal it will cut in and out like its not getting something correctly. At a light whether cold or warm the idle moves a tiny bit up and down. I changed oil, oil filter and fuel filters about 3K ago. It has no problem starting warm or cold. If you don't get on the gas hard you wouldn't know it had a problem other than the idle, under normal driving condition it goes threw gears fine no problems. I also cleaned the egr, the vgt and replaced a boost line that has a little crack in it. Any help would be awesome thank you.

Sounds like u might have injector stiction. As far as ur electrical issue, what do u mean the lights surge? Do they get bright and dim as u drive? Or what's goin on? Sounds like ur alternator could be goin out.

ok sorry I didn't want to respond until I grabbed the edge insight... as far as the dimmin of lights the exterior and interior lights and cluster dim with the idle. battery level is at 14.2 ko/engine off ficm is 49 ko/enging off icp is 629 ko/engine on. When truck is running battery level goes to about 13.8-13.5 the ficm goes between 48.5-49.5 while running. After the truck is warm it will run fine unless I step on then it feels like the power stops and goes really fast like a noticeable popping in the exhaust.

DO you have anything leaking on your pulleys, sounds like the belt might be slipping. try spraying some cleaner on the belt.

I will check but I doubt a slipping pulley will make the truck feel like a miss fire.....I could be wrong

I was thinking you should try to check out your alt voltages. Sounds like maybe the voltage regulator is not staying steady causing surges? or a wire is lose or corroded and not keeping a constant voltage? just guessing here but,

as for power surge in the engine? maybe the ficm is acting weird due to voltage variation? sounds to me like it should all be related but i am not certain how
