HELP power steering issue
Alright everyone need some help with my 04 f350 from my knowledge I have original power steering pump 120k miles problem I'm having is when I'm going around a corner and give extreme gas rev it up to maybe 2200 2500 rpm and let off I hear a scratching then my wheels pull to the opposite direction of the turn happens wether I go left or right but if I'm driving straight and rev up same rpms I'll get the scratching hard noise but no pull in the steering. Checked fluid level it's fine color is fine no leaks from a visual inspection of steering it looks all good. I recently did a high output alt and didn't change the belt yet cause one I bought was too long and I need one that's 2 inches shorter then stock length. May that be the reason? Or do I need a pump or power steering gear box?
Also anyone know if I can get a 120" 6 rib serpentine belt from somewhere been searching and I can't find it.
Thanks all I'm advance for your reply!
