fuel pressure

Just installed a fuel pressure on my X.

At idle I see 45-50 psi but it will easily dip into 35psi range under a load. Heck just cruising in traffic I can see 38-40psi.

Does this mean my injectors have been abused and should expect shorter life from them? Truck has 51k mi. Filters changed every 10k mi+/-

I can replace the pump with a factory unit, but is there a better option? like somehow to put an inline unit in addition to the factory?

Or replace the factory with a FASS?

thanks!
