Help. Another oil cooler needed. 35 degree delta

I bought an 05 f250 with 83000 miles. It had new head gasket ,head bolts ,and egr cooler when I bought it. I use it for pulling lots of stuff. Recently installed a bully dog pmt and now I realize something is wrong. Oil temp 240-245 ect 205-212. Plus with recent cold weather And half way gelled it up and now po269 cylinder 3 code is showing up and runs with an awful vibration going down the road. So my question is what work do I need. Oil cooler, injector work egr valve? I don't really want to take it to a ford dealer to get charged an arm and a leg for labor.

Get Diesel 911 in the tank, swap fuel filters out with OEM filters.

As for deltas, yeah, looks like an oil cooler is in your future. Any coolant puking or loss? Might delete the EGR to avoid drama there...

First thing in the morning do what is called a cold soak. Check your delta's engine off and COLD. Sometimes you can have a faulty sensor. They should be within a degree or 2.

In your situation I would serieously check the coolant system, air flow restriction, coolant flow, cooling fan issues etc.

In 53 years of working on engines of all types I have seldom seen that much of a temp spread. Sumpthin is definately going on.

That code is for #3 injector only. At the time the code set the injector had not fired properly, this could simply been a piece of trash, a water droplet anything. Try clearing the code first and see if it keeps comeing back, then look for a physical issue.
