Unhappy HELP! Another Puking Degras Bottle!!!

well, turning to my fellow powerstroke.org members for some support again. I've been having some other issues-EBP error set, my RPM guage reading way of-but truck running fine, two days ago, i noticed my degras was DRY! so i added coolant-took a whole bottle-well where is the coolant going?---today after 15 min drive, i opened the hood to find coolant puked all over my air intake and even some sprayed up onto the underside of the hood. Thoughts Please-i studded it and used oem gaskets myself back in july 2013-and am afraid my gaskets have failed on me MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR REPLIES.

I am not studded yet, but have that issue but not near as much spewing as your describing. I bought a new (Stant brand) cap and still have the spewing... Looks like I am pressure testing to see if I have HG leaks...

Buy a cap and rule that out at least!

If your head gaskets were to fail you would notice coolant and oil mixing or a hydro locked motor if severe.after a new cap and the problem persists and no signs of coolant under the truck where you park it then you have internal leak. Smell your exhaust and see it smells different.

Remember the degas bottle will always have pressure, thats why a functioning cap is important.

Just nothing like this. LoL

Go anywhere and buy a cap, buy two and leave one in your glove box there cheap enough plus you might have a friend with the same problem!
