eratic idling

My 2004 6L jumps 1000 rpm, then runs normal for awhile, then does it again, it has now started stalling when it is cold but it restarts, the idle jumps up and down warm or cold. i have replaced the EGR valve and it is throwing no codes. No engine mods. Anyone have any ideas?

Post more info on truck mods what it does while driving year of truck any thing you can think of to post and check all filters and oil.

As long as your running the truck over 1800 rpm there is no problem as soon as you slow down it starts to run eratically, i have changed both fuel filters, no difference.
