hard time towing

well i went to the park moabi meet this last weekend and i towed my 21 trailer out there and when i would go up a little grade the truck really struggled ....would slow down to 45 mph and thats with the pedal all the way down ....and its not even that heavy of a trailer so my question is what could it be i am puzzled ?

how much boost were ya making???

1999 F250 XLT 2WD 7.3, 6 spd, South Bend Con OFE, Detroit Truetrac, Tony Wildman tunes, Autometer Boost&Pyro, AFE Stage II, 4" MBRP Exhaust, 2" Daystars, 17x9 DC1 wheels wrapped in 33x12.50 MTZ's

well when it would down shift it would boost around 25 and then it would slowly come down to 10 and the truck would slow down and be real sluggish....

yeah as soon as the little grade would start and i mean little to the point you cant tell that your really going up but you are .....the trans would down shift and then the truck would start to slow down then i give more go pedal and nothing ...it would even downshift again .....rpms would be at almost 3000 and about 10 lbs of boost and only going 45 mph ....watching everyone pass me up

ditto on the filters... they will suck the life outta the motor... starves it for fuel thus no go......
