striker 2

whats up guys...firt off the truck is an 05 250 with around 88k miles. stock intake, hollow cat into 5 inch stacks(sounds awesome by the way!)the problem is i have a striker 2 on it and the truck actually misses with it on any power setting. this is my second one seein how the guy from painless said he thought it was a faulty file or something to do with the module. it only starts to miss when hard on the throttle especially above 2500 rpms. truck runs fine with out it. any ideas what to check would be great. thanks in advance.

its just that at the ford dealer thats closest to me the have a sign up stating the whole no mods thing. so i dont think i could go their and talk to them about a power module and maybe get it fixed under warranty if it were something with the truck.

I would look into another dealer if necessary. But since its not doing anything stock, and its done it with 2 different striker modules. I would say get rid of the striker and get a real tuner. Actually i would say that anyway

yup the problem is the striker then. Its really just an expensive 10k mod. Take a look at an SCT X3 or Livewire with custom tuning you will be much happier
