Turbo going??

Howdy all,
Ive got an 05 psd w/ auto trans, mods are an sct x3, strait piped and an intake. I have a fairly powerful tune (wont mention to protect vendor as im not sure if it is their tune or not). It usually only seems to do this when I have this tune in, although it does sometimes rarely and not so dramatically when stock and in other tunes.

What happens if im going full bore down the highway wot and the truck shifts down into overdrive it loses all of its boost and subsequently it has very little power due to no boost, although it does smoke like an old steam locomotive which is cool as heck....If I let out of the throttle for a couple of secs the turbo seems to all of a sudden catch up, and sounds like you are just taking off at a race, it spools so quickly and whistles, and all is back to normal, until I get on it hard again.....and repeats the process, not on it real hard anymore, its done this at least a half dozen times...startin to make me worry.

A couple of other times I think it overboosted, the stock gauge pegged out, but my gauges on my commander showed the boost as changing erratically, so I am unsure of whats going on there, same symptoms though, just the gauges going nuts??? Needless to say, I got outta the throttle quickly fearing blowing the heads....

I dont know whether the turbo is sticking causing this or the tune has a problem, or hopefully no larger issues.

I still love this truck and engine and its amazing what it can do....not trying to dog on it, just wanna keep her running tip top and not hurt her too badly......

Thanks for any and all ideas and advice!!!

Weird, havent been in Kentucky since last year, if ive got a twin truck id sure like to meet him, weve got similar tastes, he must be a pretty cool guy lol...as far as I know ive never even seen a truck with the same paint combo as mine it seems to be very unusual, which is why I got it.

Got any ideas regarding the turbo??
