Sounds like a grind noise???

Hey everyone, new guy here. I have an 05 250 that when I put it in reverse, I hear what sounds like a grinding noise coming from up front. Im guessing its the tranny cuz nothing else should be spinnig moving up front, correct. Sometimes the noise will happen under no power, but almost always happens under power. I also noticed the noise when I was on the highway doing about 80mph, but the sound was more faint, but still noticeable. Anyone have a clue as to what may be the cause of this problem or anything I can take a look at? I have a lift on there, so Im afraid to take it in to the dealership to have them look at and have them give me the bubeepbeepbeepbeep run around that my warranty is voided cuz of the lift therefore they wont touch it. Thanks in advance.

Oh, if you need more info, let me know, I have off today so Ill be around to answer any questions. Thanks again.
