blowin white smoke

hey guys i got a situation , pulled into a parking lot today and noticed white smoke all around me, my first thought was damn some poor fool is burnin a tone of oil, then to my surprise realized the fool was ME.?? i left my truck on and got out to check, sure enogh my truck was blowin out white smoke looked like cheech was hiding in my tailpipe! I imetiad. checked my gauges, everything was normall, so turned off the engine and could smell the smoke, kinda like coolant burnin, anybody have any advise or similar situation happen

O' I got an 07' F250 CC, FX4 6.0 with 23K

Buddy had an 05 do the same thing. Turn out to be his injectors. Factory replaced 4 of them

whats even stranger is after i got the things i needed from the store drove home and it didnt smoke up , but the " burnin coolant smell " is still around

Could be EGR cooler or head gaskets

could be an injector that split at the tip but if thats the case could have big problems

white smoke from the exhaust = egr cooler

if it has any miles on it , make sure the oil cooler gets checked also ,a restricted oil cooler can cause egr cooler failure

head gaskets on a 6.0 will not blow white smoke

just my truck back today, they replaced the egr cooler .hope the problems fixed, got a free oil change out of it.
