instrument cluster problem

When I start the truck everything works after about 30 seconds sometimes a minute all of the gauges stop working when I get to a stop sign they will come back on for a second when you haven't traveled very far, after that they won't come on until you turn the engine off then back on. Also the radio and window switches and door locks quit along with the other components. I tried a new instrument cluster that didn't help. Any suggesstions would be helpfull.

By chance did you get the cluster programed by ford. I have a cluster problem myself and it effect my power windows also. There is a relay inside that controls them. When I check into the part they told me I could install it however it may not function correctly because the VIN numbers would match.

Possibly a problem at the fuse box. I don't remember how our's are but ussually the harness in the back of it is bolted in place. Sometimes that can come lose.

i kept blowing the #41 10amp fuse dealr replaced instrument cluster last week $850 46k miles 05 f350, just outragious. lost power windows, dome reading lights, stereo untill fix.

Isn't all that controlled by the GEM under the dash.

If Ford replaced the Cluster, I'd be going back to them, That's an expensive piece.

ford said they would cover mine on a good faith 1 time event, good luck, i would try junk yard instead of dealer if i had to pay the 850. you will also have to reset mileage,hours on cluster
