White smoke
I put my 4" straight pipe on Saturday morning now every time I start my truck it lets out a puff of white/grey smoke and you can see a real faint grey smoke coming out for about a minute then it stops. It only does this when its a cold start? I run the extreme street tune on my SCT

drain enough coolant out of it through the radiator pet**** to bring it down the the very minimum mark on the bottle when its cold and you should take care of the coolant purge (the white stuff around the cap)........ as far as the white smoke....its your SCT. Its adding extra fuel when your motor isnt warm enough to burn it and it causes a bit of smoke. I bet if you take the tuner out of it it doesnt do it anymore or does it to a virtually unnoticable level.... |
