Truck Started/Now Additional Problems
I am the proud owner of an 2006 F350 Superduty 6.0 that I couldn't get to start. After reading several posts on this subject, I decided to try plugging the truck in for the night. After being plugged in all night it started today, however, it now has additional problems. After starting it runs at idle OK, but as I press on the fuel pedal the engine begins to surge. When I hold the pedal steady it goes up a 1000 rpm then drops back down then goes up again.
2 questions -- One, What would cause it to start after being plugged in all night and why not during a warm day (glo plugs maybe?).
Second, what would cause it to surge (bad fuel, bad injectors?).
Any suggestions or thoughts you can send me would be greatly appreciated.
