Tow/Haul Light Flashing

So since Thursday afternoon my trans temp gauge has been jumping from hot to cold, and then will just settle in the normal range. Also when it goes to jumping around the tow/haul light will start flashing. Anyone dealt with this before? I'm thinking it's just a bad trans temp sensor, but just want some other opinions. Thanks.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I ordered a sensor this morning.

TFT sensor is a common repair. It just a quarter turn to release. You may want to get an in-pan filter too since you're in there.
