air shocks or air bags

Hi,
I have a 06 F-350 dually shortbox, I looking to smooth out the ride. This time of year has the roads bumpy and the same with the spring.
I would like some advice on what to use to do this? Air shocks or air bags?
I'm taking a 3000 mile trip with the truck with my harley ('11 ultra classic) in the back, any help that I can get would sure be appreicated!

Thanks captmike

I'd look into upgrading the shocks and possibly the suspension. An member on here has an 06 F350 which ride better than his car and minivan. Maybe you could pm him... User name JetJock15. Beware, he has spent a pretty penny though

IMO, air bags aren't going to make his rimed smoother unless he goes to a 4 link set up... Air bags just increase weight capacity. Unless we are thinking of two different products
