MAP Sensor? Turbo? No power?

Ok my check engine light is on and has been for a week. Keeps throwing P0238 Turbo circuit A too high? Any idea what that means? The problem ive had but only happened once was I went to take off and it wasnt building much boost, had no power and the tranny wasnt shifting properly. Is it all due to the faulty what i assume faulty MAP sensor? Any ideas???

Sounds like the vanes in your turbo might be stuck open. Can you monitor VGT cycle%?

No I can't. I ordered a new MAP sensor and replaced the old one. Cleaned out the MAP tube and buttoned it all back up. No codes. Haven't had any power issues either. Hopefully that fixed it all. If not, my next thing is to pull turbo and have it cleaned out real good.

Also check your ebp sensor and tube are clean and clear. Those 2 sensors are the most common cause of your symptoms.

slapped a new MAP sensor in and cleaned MAP sensor tubes, deleted codes. No trouble, no SES.
