How does the truck run? Any misses or hard starts when it's cold? How about seat of the pants feel? Notice any power drops or smoke? Any codes?

It runs good for the most part and has 132,000 miles on it. There's been a couple times where the truck stutters while driving. I haven't had it in any cold conditions yet. I don't know what the "seat of the pants is". and the last codes I got were all for the EGR so I took it out and found a rock of carbon and got that out and cleaned the soot off

When I first got my 04 it only got about 8 mpg and then I cleaned the EGR valve and had my FICM repaired and tuned and now I am getting 12.4 mpg.

What Ford Fan said. I would make sure the EGR valve is working properly and check your FICM volts. They need to be 48 volts or above with the key on, cranking, and truck running.
