Boost?

I heard a strange whine while I started to build boost today. The whine was loud and lasted for about 5 seconds. Once my truck was warm it wouldnt do it anymore.

I also noticed that it only boosted up to about 15 psi wot. Is that normal. I had my extreme street tune loaded too.

It didnt seem very slow. Felt like it had all its power, just thought it pushed more boost.

Is there a chance I have a boost leak, and is there any easy way to check?

Nevermind...After searching the forum I found out that I didnt tighten my egr valve tight enough a month ago when I decided to clean it. Maybe thats why I wasnt boosting very high.
