2006 F250 power steering leak at brake booster

Have been told by ford mechanic that the leak I am seeing at my break booster from a line from power steering punk is common on 06 f series super duty diesels. If it is so common why hasnt ford done a recall on the problem. Tech said I would have to change lines to booster. Dont know the cost yeat but seems like if Ford has seen this that much thay should help with the cost.

if you will be purchasing delco brake booster the price estimate is starting from $190 to $350. i just got the prices from racepages.com. But if you will be looking out on amazon or ebay you find affordable one. Oh no! damn old thread forget it!

2004 F250 Power Steering Leak at Brake Booster

Have less than 45000 miles on truck, mainly vacation vehicle, may be why problem has finally been noticed. Leak @ booster passenger side.
Drove 200 miles and seen little loss, but leak is extream when steering is truned sharply, guess that is when the pressure really builds up.

Was able to tighten (seemed loose) and leak stopped, will monitor and test prior to trips.
