messed up oil filter housing

ok i messed up big time please need help, i was changing the oil filter and was turning the cap and apperently the new filter was not the same and i snapped off pieces off off the spiril thing in the middle, how do i replace it and what is it called and what type of tool do i use to remove it

p.s. i know i am an idiot, but please help!!

They make a metric socket to fit these caps. The springs act as a relief. I think it comes out as an assembly. If that cap is still partially in the cooler you prolly have to gently chisel it out. May want to change that cap over to a Billet Cap.

i hope it is easy, do you know if there is anything special about removing and replacing it and do you know what socket it is
