HARD START, Only starts on second crank....??????

This is a wierd issue, but i have long cranking hot or cold. Here is what i have discovered. If you crank it once, it will never start, even cranking for 15 secs. As soon as you try a second time, it fires right up. So today, i tried just blipping the starter real quick, and then doing it agian, and she fires up within 2 secs of cranking the 2nd time.

What in the world could cause this??? I am guessing a electrical issue. Ficm is good, batteries are good. New icp sensor, ipr sensor, new fuel filters, new rotella t6. None of these have coincided with this issue. Just plain maintiance, other than the sensors.

im kinda going through the same thing. but even on second or third cranks i still have issues. but if i allow the pump and key to sit in the "on" position and then try it seems to start a little bit better. but im interested to see outcome...

Do you monitor fuel pressure? I wonder what it looks like during "no start"?
