back from a deployment-problems...

I have an 04 F250 PSD Harley edition with an Edge Juice with attitude. Over the time of my deployment I had a battery fail and I had my wife remove and put the new battery in without connecting it. So both batteries had been disconnected for about 2-3 months.

Currently I have 2 new batteries and a "new" reman alternator installed.

So today, My first day back in the states, I go to perform a parasitic draw test (less than 40mA so Its good) but the Edge CTS kept beeping about every 2 seconds and only stops when you unplug the OBD II port connector and the display doesnt come up.

I contacted Edge's help line after hours, so Im waiting on that response.

Has anyone had this issue before?

If you still have the cable for the edge, try hooking it up to your PC and see if it does the same thing, might as well give it a firmware update while you're at it. When my CS died Edge told me sometimes if you try to jump start the truck it can fry the components inside. You never said that happened, but having a dead battery while you were gone seems like it would be a good possibility. But see if you can get the display to come up on the computer and if you can, find out why its beeping. Does the truck start/run normal besides the CTS now turning on?

Well I figured it out. I had to update the Fusion software on my computer. Once that was done and I connected the CTS it had a Firmware update and then turned on.
