I hooked up my Matco determinator diagnostic tool due to a long crank today just replaced my hpop dummy plugs stand pipes and o-rings about three weekes ago, do after the long crank today I was worried had three fault one was crank shaft position sensor one was the gem modual and the engine communication bus I believe, I know that ford has to replace them so they can re program the truck just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem truck still runs awesome stars fine and goes good but have those two codes replaced crank shaft sensor

Gem is general electric module. Controls things like radio, locks, windows.

For the Ecm code, give us a PXXXX type code.

I think that's what you are asking

I was told that there is no GEM in the trucks after 02. I guess everything is in the relay box under the dash. This info came from Trousley Ford.

I cant remember the exact name but It sounded like an updated name for a GEM
