Auto Enginuity question

Just picked up the Auto Enginuity scan tool. I'm still trying to figure out some weird running issues I'm having with my 6.0L.

Did some data logging and upon reviewing it I've noticed a lot of glitches in the readings where sensors will read 0 momentarily or max right out, but mostly zeros. For example my intake air temp will drop to -40F every so often for a split second, or MAF readings, engine RPM, all will read zero momentarily. I counted 12 "glitches" over a 2 minute period.

So, for everybody that has played with AutoEnginuity, is this normal? My readings seem pretty normal otherwise. I'm just wondering if I need to be chasing this or ignoring it.

I've also learnt that without the Ford add on you really cant read very much at all.

I haven't experienced that. Maybe reset the AE program, check your connections to the OBDII reader and to the computer.
