Weird loss of power intermittently
I have a 2003 f250 ccsb, straight pipe, new oil cooler, egr delete, fresh oil, and all new filters in the truck. This problem happens more when the truck is towing, or when I have been running around for more than an hour, so the truck is fully warm. So what happens is I am going down the road and attempt to apply more throttle, sometimes, the the truck will rev up some and make what sounds like a louder spooling noise, or leak, but won't go anywhere, and doesn't rev all the way up, and never gets raspy deep exhaust tone. I can let off and try again, or floor it and most of the time, the truck will over come the issue for a bit. Tow haul helps, it's better when I keep my rims up. It doesn't happen all the time. Maybe twice a day if I am unloaded.
My thoughts are, up pipe leak, intercooler boots, maybe a sensor, I've cleaned the turbo twice in the last year, don't think it's that. Idk confused might have to bring her somewhere....any ideas?
I don't have any gauges or a monitor.. Thanks Derek
