FICM voltage drop at WOT

Last saturday I noticed, while floored and going around a black smoking Duraturd, that according to my Edge CTS, my FICM voltage dropped down to 41v. However my headlights didn't dim and there weren't any indications of a charging system problem.

I will still have the alternator load tested just to be sure.

Today I was accelerating heavily and the same alert goes off, FICM had again dropped to 41v.

Now I know a lot of people here use FICMrepair.com or a BPD FICM, but has anyone used one of the many ebay services? They advertise repairs and 58v upgrades relatively inexpensively on there, wasn't sure if it was legit or whatnot.

I would NOT upgrade to 58v without using an FICM (like BPD) that's designed to handle the extra voltage. Changing a 48v FICM to 58v are known to get extremely hot cause all sorts of problems.
