egr valve

while at idle, engine goes quiet, but still running, then when you give it gas. it shutters before picking up and going...ford dealer replaced egr valve today, but still has problem...help??????

Unplug the EGR and drive it. See if anything changes.

If the dealer replaced the EGR good chance it isnt stuck. So drive it and see how it runs. If theres no change, good chance it is not an EGR issue.

It could be soooooooo......many different things.

i had that issue a while back, the dealer replaced my EGR valve, replaced my EBP (exhaust back pressure) sensor and had to clean out the tube. shortly after i had to have the turbo replaced.
