Question 6.0 problems

I recently purchased a 2006 F-350 6.0 liter 93,000 miles . 6 in lift and 37 on Toyo MTs and it has an Edge Programmer. There is no upgrades done to the truck what should I be concerned with? Or what are some Items that I should buy for my truck??

depends on what you wanna do with it, just watch programmer as it does not control your TCM only your PCM trans will get hot from added horsepower and begin to slip, few things most guys with 6.0's do EGR delete or BPD upgraded EGR, APR head studs, coolant filters those are just a few basic things guys do to make the truck more reliable. Studs get expensive to do due to having to take cab off, ive seen a hand full of guys attempt it with cab on but just easier to manuaver things with cab off, if you go to a shop theyll prob quote you high and tell you around $5,000, idk where you are located but there is a shop out of one of the carolinas called DIRTY SOUTH DIESEL PERFORMANCE they usually run deals for EGR, APR STUDS, and SCT tuner with labor for like 3,500 which is a really good deal they say it takes about a week to complete the whole set up
