2005 6.0 turbo boost 60+

I got now a 2005 6.0 powerstroke with check eng light on for turbo underboost condition and overboost condition. While driving normal it will run around 20-30 while accelerating and on a hard acceleration 60+.Now the I cleaned off the egr valve and Iat sensor and condition is the same. Now I'm thinking either the vgt solenoid is bad or may'be the vanes are rusted up.Anyone had similar issues with theirs???

Sounds like a serious case of sticky vanes I know when my unison ring was worn out I would get normal boost but under wot it would shoot well over 30 pounds and hold. You have any sort of monitor you can read vgt%

I sure hope you have ARP studs. If you are pushing that much boost through the heads on TTY head bolts you are going to push a head gasket.
