Horrible shaking when braking hard

Ok so I had to slam on the brakes today and When I did the truck started shaking bad and I mean bad. Only happens when I have to brake hard no other time. It also feels like its coming from the rear. Any help is much appreciated.

Oh yeah I'm up in New York and this is the first hard snow winter this truck or myself have seen coming from Texas that is. Don't know if that has anything to do with it being it was driven a little when salt was thrown down.

Sounds like your rotors may be warped. Wouldn't hurt to get a pair of clamping dial indicators from harbor freight or wherever you can get them and check them before spending a chunk on rotors. Think they're like 40 bucks from harbor freight.

Yeah I miss harbor freight. They have nothing like that up here. It's like pulling teeth to find anything up here. Can't wait to get back to Texas.
But I would think warped routers would cause a vibration anytime I brake. Everything is fine unless the a**hole in front of me slams on his brakes leaving me to do the same going 70. People up here just don't know how to drive lol.

I feel no vibration no pulling or sticking of any sorts during normal driving
