No brake or turn signal lights

I have a 2005 Excursion, 6.0L. Used it to pull a small trailer this past weekend. All lights, turning signals, brake lights worked fine upon hookup and at least the first 2 hours of the trip. (checked again at a break) Went to start the truck after sitting for 3 days hooked to the trailer, and the batteries were nearly dead. Found no interior lights left on after getting it jumped and running, so I assumed that I had a problem with my trailer wiring. After arriving home, I realized my hazard lights were not working, then realized that my turning signal or brake lights were not working either. I checked fuses that relate to brake / turn signal lights and towing. All fuses I checked had continuity. Running lights work fine. My tripometer was also reset, but I attributed that to the batteries being dead. Any ideas?

Ok, I'm embarrassed to admit this, however I'm hopeful that someone else may use this information. Turns out after rechecking all pertinent fuses again and then turning the key back on I still had no brake lights or turn signals, but my high mount center brake light worked? Checked the hazard button and it was stuck between on and off. Depressed fully and wha la, everything works. Fiddled with it some more and got it to hang up again. Took several more pushes to get it freed up. So, for those of you who have kids that play in your truck, beware that this condition will cause some frustration.
