Question 6.0 Smoking at Idle ONLY

Currently at 48,000 miles.

Recent Maintenance Done:
Engine Oil Cooler replaced/repaired.
EGR Valve replaced.
Intake Manifold Gasket replaced.
Turbocharger replaced/repaired.
Fuel Filters replaced.
NEW EGR Cooler.

Cranks easy. Drives perfect. Does not overheat.

Once I crank and begin to drive, it does not smoke, but once I hit a redlight and the truck is at idle, it pours out smoke at RANDOM times. Sometimes it smokes, sometimes it doesn't. It happens randomly. I've taken it to 2 Diesel places, and they keep telling me different things. I don't know what is going on and would really like some help from you guys.

The smoke happens at random times and it doesn't matter if the truck is cold, or warmed up.

Opinions? Suggestions?

Thanks.

White smoke. I didn't really notice a "tint" of blue..
so, I am pretty sure it's pure white.

Does it have a CCV vent? White smoke would usually tell me blow-by or coolant being burnt.

Once of the diesel places I took it to said that the coolant was being burnt.
They refilled it twice and kept burning.

So, what do you think it could be?

Definitely sounds like the coolant is burning. I'm no expert but to me that could either be a EGR cooler, or head gaskets. Since you said you have a new EGR cooler and EGR Valve, I would lean towards head gaskets.

Best way to be sure would be to tee a pressure gauge into the return line in the degas bottle and monitor it while driving to see if it exceeds 16 PSI.. Any puking?

Yea i would check your EGR valve first, Are you experiencing any white residue around the degas bottle?
