Hope for some help.
I own a 2005 F250 with 115,000 miles. I just replaced the EGR cooler (BPD), the oil cooler (oem), STC fitting on HPOP (BPD), along with the egr gasket set and the HPOP filter screen. Everything I took out was obviously bad and needed to be replaced. After about 5 min of cranking the truck started up and ran much better than I ever remember it running. The only thing that worried me is that it took about 3-5 seconds of cranking before it started up. I drove it for 5 days and then on the 5th day it starting taking longer to start and then decided to not start altogether.
I then deciced to replace the dummy plugs and standpipes. Once again the truck was running great but was still cranking 3-5 seconds before it would start. I drove the truck all day and at the end of the day it decided not to start again. I had it towed to a ford dealership to have them diagnose it. They said it only has 200-300lbs of pressure when it should have around 500. They charged me $150 for that diagnostic and now they want to charge me another $250 to tell me where my pressure leak is located.
Im hoping you guys have some insight for me. Maybe something I installed wrong or maybe the whole HPOP is bad? Thanks for your help!
