boosted launch, stripped something

Today I raced my buddy's 350z. I 4x4 boosted launched and beat him but now I have this horrible slipping sound. It sounds like something's stripped. It only does it with both hubs locked in 4x4. I don't think its in the hubs because I locked them individually and no slippage. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

If you can't locate the issue, I would drain the fluid from the transfer case and check for any shavings

Congrats on whooping up on a 350z!!

you won't be able to tell anything by only locking one at a time, you have a open front differential.

Oh ok, The 4x4 on my truck hasn't been used but a handful of times. This is the fourth 4x4 launch its ever seen. I know a guy who abuses the **** out of his and boosts it up to 25psi in 4x4 just for the hell of it and has zero issues. I only built 10 psi before I took off.
I think it's coming from up front, either the driver side hub or the diff. I wouldn't think the diff you crap out that easily.

I would be very surprised if it is an issue in the front differential. I have seen the ring and pinion chip one of the teeth but nothing that would cause a consistent "stripping" sound.

I would check the functionality of the hubs, then the t case, then the diff. In this order due to the frequency of failure.

My guess would be a hub, or a stub shaft. Both are know weak points.

I thought the sound was coming from up front rather than the t-case. I was thinkin driverside hub. I'll pull the hub tomorrow after work and see what's up.
