I started having a rough idle problem on and off a few days ago. No codes then. Today it started cutting out during acceleration. It seemed to clear up after the truck warmed up and just bucked a little bit during idle. I scanned it again tonight and pulled P0266 for #2 cylender contribution test fail. FICM is new, voltage is good, and nothing else out of the ordinary. It seems like that injector is probably bad to me with the current symptoms. I've read a few threads saying to do an oil change and add some rev x (never tried it, but I do run synthetic oil). I'm about 500 miles from a service, so I planned on doing one anyways, but not replacing the injector seems like this would just be a band aid if that's the problem. Any thoughts? Also, I found a diagram that says the number 2 injector is the front on the drivers side, can anybody confirm that?
