wierd cold start

when i start my truck when its cold it will jump right up to 1200 rpms and stay there for awhile then rev up and down almost like its loping then after while it will calm back down to a normal idle. any ideas anyone? thanks in advance.

whats FICM voltage at start up and fuel pressure?

I would have the computer updated with the newest ford programs. My truck did that and i brought it in. The dealer said the computer needes to be updated. So i had it done. Truck starts and runs great now. 2004 f350 6.0 crew cab dually

no it doesnt take long to fire just kida spits and sputters for a secod then jumps right up to like 1200 rpm. fuel pressure is at 65psi. ill check ficm tomorow but i just had it rebuild.
