Serpentine Belt!

I did my EGR delete and blew a Serpentine Belt shortly after, didnt think much of it because it was older and thought it was just its time.. I installed a new one from Auto Zone ($50!!)

Less than 500 miles later I see this one is starting to thread apart!!! What is going on? I don't understand how its going so quickly??

Check your tensioner and idler pulleys. Something could be bad and not spinning true causing the belt to be eaten on the sides

$50 isn't bad when compared to the $98 at the dealer (or at least at my dealer)
