Marc, I cleaned the pigtail really good like you said, and it looked ok. Do you think its worth trying a new one? What else could be causing the problem? It idles like its got a racing cam in it,, chug, chug, chug, choppy like. I have a buddy that has the Auto Engunity software, maybe I'll see if we can read anything off there. IDK

yea...it cant hurt to try. The sensor actually is a gold plated connector to keep any resistance down...thats why its so expencive. Where exactly are you located?

I'm in Las Vegas, about 10 mins from the strip. I may try putting in a new pigtail connector and see if that does it, b4 I try anything else. Its not that much more money, and everything I've read seems to be the symptoms that my truck is showing, it looks to point to the icp sensor still, If the pigtail dosen't work I may just have to bring it in to the dealer.

Well heres an update to the ICP drama, for anyone who cares. I went in to Ford to pickup the new pigtail and the service manager starts talking to me about my troubles w/the truck. He says you may still be under warranty, (like Rob suggested). So he looks up my VIN and says I'm under warranty till the end of march. Well, obviously the ICP sensor needed to be changed anyway due to the oil leak, but I said good deal, brought the rig in for them to see what was causing the rough idle and low on power. Turned out that I had dropped my #7 injector. (looks like its time for a fuel system upgrade). So it was a combination of a couple of problems. The truck went in yesterday and I got it back today, full warranty, $100 deductable. And I had them do a trans serve while it was in there as well. That's it in a nutshell..Moral here....Check for warranty first. At least I know what a pain it is to do an 03 ICP changeout...

Awesome deal, Chris! Glad you were able to get it fixed for $100!!! Sucks that you already changed out the ICP sensor, though. BTW, which dealership did you take it to? I used to live in LV and graduated high school there before joining the Navy...

Yeah, shawn it was a "learning experience".. I took it to Ford Country in Henderson. They have always been really good to work with and have always been fair with me. How long since you left Vegas?
