2003 6.0 4X4 not working, HELP

Hi, im knew to the forum and ive never really had a problem with my truck till last week when i went to move my truck out of some gravel and it sank alittle and got stuck, when i went to engage my 4x4 i got the 4x4 light on the dash but it didnt accually catch, and i had already locked the hubs, my display also wont show it going into 4 low, does anyone know what this could be? any help would be much appreciated, and its electronic 4x4 switch, not manual on the floor, thankyou

Sounds like the actuator on the transfer case isnt engaging, or is stuck. When was the last time you used 4x4 and it worked?

Check the two relays between the battery and fender on the drivers side, it's a common problem that's easy to fix. Hope this helps.

Most 4x4'rs and Ford recommend cycling the 4x4 system at least once a month.
