Gauge shut off

Hey guys, new to the forum here and need some help.

I own a 2006 f350 6.0 and when driving down the road my gauges, radio, along with window buttons will shut off and not work then randomly come back on. Often it will turn off then pop back on again, then sometimes it stays off for over 20minutes.

My friend who works at Ford and is a diesel tech had mentioned to change the rear trailer light hook up as that may be the root of the issue, however, it didn't work.

Just wondering what could be the issue and if I am able to fix it myself without taking to the dealer?

Thanks so much, couldn't figure out the search option

Mine did the same thing about 4 months ago. I never had a problem and then one day everything cut off and it did this 5-6 times, knock on wood it hasnt done it again. I researched it and it seems to be a common problem especially with the 06 models.
