Oh lawd! It won't start!! STUMPED

I'm calling on the help of all of those wise folks of the 6.0 community! My truck is an '04 6.0 showing no codes. This last week it has randomly started dying while driving (mostly coasting when it happens) and dying while idling. We took everything apart yesterday to look for chaffing on wire harnesses or signs of wear and found nothing. Drove it fine afterward, didn't die. Figured it was okay and parked it. Went to start it this morning and it started twice and died. Left it and drove a different truck. Go to start it tonight and nothing...no so much as a click and my edge moniter won't connect. It hasn't moved!

So far tonight we have taken the pcm off and put it on another truck...it was fine.

Swapped ignition switches...also fine

checked all of the main engine grounds

voltage at starter was there and good and checked all fuses.

As of last time it started, it had 48.5 volts on ficm.

I'll add that several times when it died while driving, the water in fuel light came on briefly.

ANY IDEAS AT ALL??!!!

Are you saying you have 0 power when the key is cycled on? I would start by checking the fusible links off of the battery positive cables. Then check all relays and fuses both in the cab and in the engine compartment.

There are dash lights and radio and the obd2 port has power. We checked all fuses under the kick panel and there is no engine compartment fuse block. We figure it has to be a common electrical connector somewhere that we aren't finding. Are there any that you know of that tend to be problematic at times? Do you think the cam sensor could completely stop it from starting?

Absolutely the CMP and CKP will definitely keep it from starting. Is the engine turning over while cycling the key or will it not do anything? Do you hear a click when you turn the key to start it?

We've given up for the night, it's getting too dark outside. Hopefully some more brainstorming tonight will give us some ideas for tomorrow. Ugh

The dash lights and radio go off when you turn the key but that's it. No injector clatter or anything. We are so seriously stumped.

Try one more thing real quick before calling it a night. Have someone lay under the truck (wheels chocked and parking brake set) and have them tap on the starter with a hammer while you turn the key to try to start it.
