Runs like crap unless I plug it in?

K guys here's another one my pickup starts and runs fine if I plug it in if I don't it runs rough and sounds like we are only running on half the cylinders it's getting 70 degrees during the day and I still have to plug it in at work! Changed glow plugs. Code reader reads no codes ?? I'm lost. Help!!!!!!

Stiction...see twoicebergs thread on fixing stiction. Mine was doing the same thing till I fixed the stiction and that was 2 years ago.

Its in the general 6.0 section. Tittled Fixing Stiction. If you haven't turned a lot of wrenches on a 6.0 then you could try some rev-x or archoil 9100. Usally tuose clear it up. Cleaning the spool valves is a longer term fix.

Mine old 6.0 was like that it ended up being the ficm had low volts
